This website runs off of a basic webserver provided by Ionos. The information collected on it is limited to the context of the webserver, which includes the following information:

  • IP Address: "x.x.x.x" below, this is the IP address that is seen by the webserver. This allows for a possible rough estimation of geographic location and the identification of which ISP (or VPN) the client is connecting through.
  • Date and time of visit: In []’s below, the date and time the visit or page request occurred.
  • Request info: www.gillulyit.com "https://www.gillulyit.com/articles" below, this is the information/page which was requested by the web browser
  • User agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:125) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/125.0 below, this is the information that the client provides for diagnostic reasons.

Other than this I don’t collect any other information on this website. Exclusions being if the client has malware installed or any other modification which may allow forms and ads to be injected into their viewing experience.

This website doesn’t have cookies enabled as of writing this privacy statement.

Children’s information

As this site doesn’t knowingly collect information on its audience, it also doesn’t collect any information about children. If you feel that you or your child inadvertently provided said information on this site then contact me using the information on the contact page and I will try to be prompt in removing it.

Parents reserve the right to block their children from viewing this website.
